إستخدام مناظير الجهاز الهضمي لإجراء عملية توسيع بإستعمال البالون لعلاج ضيق مكان ورم سرطاني بالمرئ ( بالجزء العلوي للمرئ الموجود بمنطقة العنق ) بعد العلاج الإشعاعي للورم السرطاني بالجزء العلوي للمرئ.
وفي مثل هذه الحالات تحتاج المريضة بعد ذلك للمتابعة بالمنظار وتوسيع واخذ عينات من مكان الضيق واجراء اللازم حسب ما يراه الأطباء وقد تحتاج الي علاج اشعاعي مرة أخرى حسب ما يراه الأطباء وهذه الحالة كانت محولة لنا للفحص وعمل توسيع بالمنظار واخذ عينات من مكان الورم السرطاني الذي تم علاجه بالإشعاع.

Endoscopic Balloon Dilatation For a stricture at the cervical part of the Esophagus after Radiotherapy for treatment of malignant Esophageal Stricture (Cervical Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma).
This patient is in need of further follow up endoscopy and to repeat the dilatation and to take a biopsy from the site of the stricture for further management as it is a case of squamous cell carcinoma of the Esophagus at 20 cm from the incisors, and she received radiotherapy and was referred to us for Endoscopic follow up and dilatation after radiotherapy as she was complaining of dysphagia .
